St. Patrick's Day Parade
March 17, 2012

The New York City St. Patrick's Day Parade had its debut on March 17, 1762. Today it is the largest parade in the world. The parade marches up Fifth Avenue from 44th Street to 86th.

TribecaFilm Festival
April 18 - April 29, 2012

The Tribeca Film Festival was founded in 2001 following the attacks on the World Trade Center to spur the economic and cultural revitalization of lower Manhattan through an annual celebration of film, music and culture. The festival's mission focuses on assisting filmmakers to reach the broadest possible audience, enabling the international film community and general public to experience the power of cinema and promoting New York City as a major filmmaking center.

Fleet Week
May 23 - May 30, 2012

Since 1984, New York City has held Fleet Week to honor the U.S. Navy and Marine Corps. The week features extensive military demonstrations, as well as the opportunity for the public to tour some of the visiting ships. The Memorial Day commemoration is a highlight of the week's festivities, featuring the singing of Taps and a military aircraft fly over in honor of those who lost their lives in service to the United States.

The 66th Annual Tony Awards
