Description - The Pierre
The Pierre, the iconic flagship of Taj Hotels on New York’s Fifth Avenue overlooking Central Park, re-opened on June 1, 2009 following a meticulous $100 million renovation recreating guestroom and bathroom interiors and reconfiguring first floor public areas to accommodate a new restaurant and lobby lounge. Offering a fabled Central Park location and legendary history, The Pierre continues to set the standard for elegance and unrivalled hospitality.
Various leisure options include two salons, Dominique Salon and Rene's Salon, fitness center, gift shop, board games and card games, and for your convenience, 24 hour in-room dining. Both salons offer a range of massages, facials, hair services, manicures and pedicures, waxing and makeup applications. Offering 18,000 square feet of event space including six distinctive public rooms, including two spacious ballrooms, The Pierre can accommodate events of any scale, from a small gathering to a banquet for 800 people.
